Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you are unable to get to the surgery because of disability or ill health we will visit you at home. Please telephone before 10:30 to enable us to plan the visit rounds and ask for a call only if you are too ill or disabled to attend the surgery. Lack of transport can almost always be overcome with the help of family, friends or neighbours.

We regret that we cannot guarantee that a particular doctor will carry out a home visit.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
